The Institutional Capital Planning Committee (ICPC) acts as the central steering body for all capital and planning activities. The committee ensures that the capital and space planning process aligns with university strategic direction, supports academic and research excellence, and appropriately leverages financing mechanisms consistent with guidance from the Executive Strategic Planning Committee (ESP).
Oversight
- Advise the ESP and ensure timely and coordinated workflow for recommending capital projects, real estate transactions, and space planning initiatives
- Act as the governing body over specialized capital planning work groups, serving as the single gateway for progression and coordination
- Develop and manage standardized processes, criteria, and governance structures to enable evaluation of capital project requests
