The Executive Strategic Planning Committee (ESP) was established in April 2026 to replace the Executive Committee for Buildings, Facilities, and Space. Under a reformed charge, the ESP leads the strategic alignment of facilities, space, and funding decisions with institutional priorities as outlined in the 2030 Strategic Plan.
Oversight
- Determine strategic direction based on institutional priorities that guide all capital, space, and real estate planning
- Enact policies for institutional capital planning strategy, space management and utilization, and real estate
- Advise the president on project prioritization related to the use of university buildings, facilities, infrastructure, land, space, and real estate
- Ensure prudent stewardship of physical and financial resources, assessment of institutional risk, and alignment with policy
